South Central Railway has added a one-minute halt at Yadadri railway station for two special trains to manage passenger demand during Bathukamma, Navaratri and Dasara. The additional stoppage will be available from October 9 to 25, with 17 services scheduled for each train.
SCR chief public relations officer A. Sridhar announced the decision on Friday. The trains, numbered 07711 and 07712, are among 34 special services announced earlier to ease festive-season congestion on routes serving Telangana.
Train 07711 will depart from Secunderabad at 12.10 pm and travel towards Sirpur Kaghaznagar. It will reach Yadadri at 1.09 pm and depart at 1.10 pm before continuing its journey. The train is scheduled to reach Sirpur Kaghaznagar at 5.30 pm.
In the opposite direction, Train 07712 will leave Sirpur Kaghaznagar at 6 pm for Hyderabad. It will arrive at Yadadri at 9.39 pm and depart one minute later at 9.40 pm, before reaching Hyderabad at 11.15 pm.
The added halt is expected to assist devotees travelling to the Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, as well as other passengers using the rail corridor during the festive period. The temporary arrangement expands access to a key pilgrimage destination while South Central Railway operates additional services to handle seasonal passenger rush.
