Noida Hospital Baby Theft Ends Safely After 10-Hour Police Search

Noida hospital baby theft case involving police recovery of a newborn from Delhi

A three-day-old baby girl reportedly taken from the Maternity and Child Hospital’s MCH wing in Sector 110, Noida, was recovered safely in Delhi within 10 hours, according to Navbharat Times – Noida. CCTV footage showed a woman leaving the hospital on a motorcycle with the newborn, which helped police trace her quickly.

The baby went missing on a Friday morning while her parents were completing discharge formalities. The woman allegedly took the child after visiting the mother the previous day and returning after phone contact. Police recovered the infant safely about 10 hours later in Delhi, but details about the woman’s identity, arrest, or charges remain unavailable.

The woman reportedly told police she paid money to obtain the baby, though the family denied this and no independent resolution of these conflicting accounts is yet reported. The mother had delivered the newborn by operation at the hospital on October 6. The police investigation is ongoing following the baby’s recovery.
