Kochi’s new air-conditioned Smart Village Office near the Fine Arts Hall will be inaugurated at 3 pm on October 17, while residents of Paradise Nagar 24-room Colony will receive land titles within the Ernakulam Village limits, according to Kerala Kaumudi – Kochi.
Minister A.P. Anilkumar will inaugurate the completed office building at a function to be held on the village office premises. T.J. Vinod, MLA, will preside over the event.
The programme will also include the distribution of land titles to residents of Paradise Nagar 24-room Colony. The announcement places the title distribution alongside the opening of a new public administration facility serving the Ernakulam Village area.
Hybi Eden, MP; Corporation Mayor V.K. Minimol; and District Collector G. Priyanka are scheduled to attend the function, the report said. The source did not provide the number of beneficiaries receiving land titles or details of the title-distribution process.
The Smart Village Office building was constructed using Plan Fund allocations through Nirmithi Kendra. The report described the facility as air-conditioned and said construction had been completed, but it did not specify the building’s cost, floor area, facilities or the services that will be delivered from the premises.
The inauguration will mark the formal opening of the new office, while the accompanying title distribution is expected to address land documentation for residents within the village’s administrative jurisdiction. Further details on the office’s operational schedule and the title recipients were not provided in the announcement.
