Hyderabad Traffic Police Website Brings Parking and Complaints Online

Hyderabad Traffic Police website showing citizen complaint and parking zone services

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has launched a new website that brings e-challan checks, parking-zone information, citizen complaints, police-station contacts and emergency numbers together on one digital platform. The website was launched on October 13 by Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar along with Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad Traffic, and other officials.

The platform, available at echallan.tspolice.gov.in/htp/index.html, allows users to check the status of e-challans and access information on various no-objection certificates. It also provides online options for reporting traffic congestion, parking-related problems and road-safety concerns, as well as submitting suggestions to the traffic police.

A WhatsApp contact link is displayed on the website, while the traffic helpline number 9010203626 is listed on the homepage. The site also carries emergency contacts for services including police assistance through 112, the women’s helpline at 181, the child helpline at 1098, ambulance services at 108, fire and rescue services at 101 and cybercrime complaints at 1930.

The ‘Citizen Complaint’ section asks users to select the type of complaint and provide the location and a description of the issue. Location and complaint description fields are marked as required. The user’s email ID is fetched on the form, although it is displayed as ‘not shared’. Providing a name and mobile number is optional, according to the information shown on the website.

The platform also includes a ‘Know your PS’ option, through which users can identify the traffic police station concerned according to their location. The pages provide contact details of the officers responsible for those jurisdictions, giving residents a direct route to the relevant traffic police unit.

Parking information is organised according to Traffic Police Station limits across several areas in Greater Hyderabad. The listed zones include Khairatabad, Secunderabad, Jubilee Hills, Golconda, Rajendranagar, Charminar, Chandrayangutta and Shamshabad. The website provides the names of parking locations along with online navigation links to help users locate them.

The new platform places several routine traffic-related services and contact points in a single interface. Its complaint form is intended to receive reports related to congestion, parking, road safety and other traffic concerns, while the parking-zone directory provides location-based information within the Greater Hyderabad limits.

The traffic police helpline, complaint form, station-directory pages and emergency contact listings are available through the newly launched website. The platform’s use by residents will determine how effectively these digital channels connect complaints and service requests with the concerned traffic police units.
