Info Edge (India) Ltd’s 99acres real estate platform recorded a 21.2 per cent year-on-year increase in billings to ₹148.3 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2026, helping the company report broad-based growth across its major businesses.
The real estate vertical’s billings rose from ₹122.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to the company’s regulatory filing. The result comes as online property platforms increasingly act as an entry point for homebuyers, tenants, brokers and developers searching for listings and market visibility.
Info Edge’s standalone billings increased 12.8 per cent year-on-year to ₹822.3 crore in the second quarter, compared with ₹729 crore in the July-September period a year earlier. For the first half of financial year 2026-27, standalone billings rose 13.5 per cent to ₹1,559.3 crore from ₹1,373.2 crore.
The company’s recruitment solutions business remained its largest contributor. Billings in the segment grew 12.6 per cent to ₹613.8 crore from ₹545 crore in the year-ago quarter. Info Edge said that, after adjusting for differences in renewal timing, management estimated underlying recruitment growth at approximately 14-15 per cent year-on-year, against reported growth of 12.6 per cent.
The performance of 99acres is significant for the digital real estate market because billings reflect payments associated with the platform’s commercial activity, including participation by property market businesses seeking users and visibility. The filing, however, did not provide a detailed breakdown of billings by property type, city, customer category or transaction volumes.
The company’s matchmaking businesses also reported growth during the quarter. Jeevansathi’s billings increased 18.4 per cent to ₹39.7 crore from ₹33.5 crore. Including dating application Aisle, the matchmaking vertical’s total billings rose 23.1 per cent year-on-year, while Aisle alone recorded a 40 per cent increase.
Not all of Info Edge’s platforms expanded. Education platform Shiksha reported a 27.2 per cent decline in second-quarter billings to ₹20.5 crore from ₹28.1 crore in the same period last year. Info Edge attributed pressure on Shiksha’s traffic and billings to AI-driven search engines answering user queries directly, reducing referral traffic to the website.
The company said it was adapting Shiksha’s business model to reduce its dependence on search queries, while cautioning that growth would remain constrained in the interim. The filing did not disclose a separate timeline for the changes or provide further operational details for the 99acres vertical.
