Pune Traffic Update: Undri Link Road Gets One-Way Rule

Pune traffic update showing one-way traffic movement on Undri Link Road

Pune Traffic Police have introduced a one-way system on a 350-metre stretch of the Undri Link Road between Holewasti and Aryan World School, changing how motorists can travel through the area from October 9.

Under the revised arrangement, vehicles can move only from Holewasti towards Aryan World School on the designated stretch. Traffic travelling in the opposite direction, from Aryan World School towards Holewasti, has been restricted.

Motorists heading from Aryan World School towards Holewasti have been asked to use an alternate route through the NIBM B.T. Kawade Road junction at Kad Nagar before continuing their journey. The diversion is intended to help regulate vehicle movement along the Link Road in Undri.

The change affects motorists using the short connection between Holewasti and Aryan World School, particularly those who previously travelled in both directions along the stretch. Drivers approaching the area from either end will need to follow the revised direction and allow additional time if they need to use the alternate route.

The directive was issued by the Pune Traffic Branch under applicable provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and the Maharashtra Police Act. The notification does not specify an end date for the one-way arrangement in the information available.

Motorists using the Undri Link Road should follow traffic signs and directions at the site, avoid entering the restricted direction and use the Kad Nagar route when travelling from Aryan World School towards Holewasti.
