Mindvault School Faces Construction Norm Questions in Kompally

Mindvault school construction site in Kompally facing allegations over construction norms

An under-construction Mindvault corporate school in Kompally has come under scrutiny after BRS leader Manne Krishank alleged violations of construction norms, questioned its proposed Rs 2.5 lakh annual fee and demanded an inquiry into alleged business links involving the family of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Krishank led BRS cadres to the school site on Monday, where he alleged that the project was being developed on land in Survey No. 87 in Medchal-Malkajgiri district without facilities he said were essential for an institution being promoted as an international school. He specifically questioned the absence of a playground at the site.

The BRS leader also questioned why the school had opened admissions for the next academic year through its website before construction was complete. The proposed fee of Rs 2.5 lakh per student, he said, required public scrutiny, particularly while the project remained under construction.

Krishank sought an explanation from the Chief Minister over alleged business interests involving his daughter, Naimisha Reddy, and Mindvault. He also referred to the company’s reported plans to establish 50 schools across States. These claims were made by Krishank and were not independently established in the report.

He further alleged that several directors associated with Mindvault held positions in Medicover Hospitals and Maxbien Pharma, which he claimed were also linked to the Chief Minister’s family. Krishank described the alleged common directorships as a matter requiring clarification and asked whether they indicated a conflict of interest.

The allegations place two separate questions before authorities: whether the school site and its construction comply with applicable norms, and whether the institution’s ownership and management relationships require disclosure or examination under conflict-of-interest rules. The report did not include a response from Mindvault, the Chief Minister, his family members, the Congress government or the relevant planning and education authorities.

Krishank said the BRS had been raising questions about the companies for nearly 10 days but had received no response from the Chief Minister or the State government. He demanded a probe into the alleged links and said the party was not opposed to private investment or development, but would continue to question what he described as the possible misuse of public office.

The immediate next step sought by the BRS is an inquiry into the alleged construction violations, the reported business relationships and the proposed school fee. Any determination on compliance, ownership links or conflict of interest would require findings from the relevant authorities and responses from the parties named in the allegations.
