The Invest Telangana Summit will move into a higher-profile outreach phase on October 29, when Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to meet chief executives and industrialists in Delhi to promote the three-day global event planned at Bharat Future City in Hyderabad from December 7 to 9.
The state government will organise the Delhi meeting as a curtain-raiser for the summit, with the Chief Minister expected to personally invite executives from leading Indian and global companies, according to sources cited in a report by Deccan Chronicle. Companies proposed for invitations include Amazon Web Services, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Meta, Pfizer, Novartis, Tesla, Safran and ITC.
The government has proposed a 220-member summit council, of which 125 members have accepted invitations so far. Nearly 300 representatives from 10 sectors have also agreed to participate, the sources said. Roadshows have already been held in Chennai and Bengaluru, while programmes are planned in Australia, Dubai, West Asian countries and the United States by October 25. Further domestic roadshows are scheduled in Mumbai on November 3 and Ahmedabad on November 4.
The summit is being promoted under the theme “Your Investment, Our Assurance”, with the guiding concept “Pledge to Plot to Plant to Payroll to Product”. According to the sources, the phrase is intended to represent the process from an initial investment commitment and land allocation to industrial establishment, employment generation and production.
The three-day event will be held across four halls at the Young India Skills University premises in Bharat Future City. The government has earmarked around 1,000 hotel rooms in Hyderabad for delegates from India and abroad. An exhibition involving 25 leading companies from 10 sectors is also planned to present industrial capabilities and investment opportunities.
The summit’s preparation is linked to a broader effort to position Telangana as an investment destination while showcasing the emerging Bharat Future City area as a venue for a major international business event. The event programme is expected to include discussions on economic development, artificial intelligence, technology, climate protection, gender equality and peace, along with cultural presentations featuring Telangana’s folk arts, classical dances, fashion, handicrafts, cuisine and Bathukamma celebrations.
The tendering process for the summit, estimated to cost ₹150 crore, has been initiated. Outdoor courtyard works are targeted for completion by November 15, while indoor arrangements and work at the university are scheduled to be completed by November 30. These deadlines leave the government with a defined preparation window before delegates arrive in December.
Revanth Reddy has also written to Union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar seeking the Centre’s cooperation in securing permissions for the conference. The Chief Minister said intellectuals, business leaders, policymakers, non-resident Indians and academics from across the world were being invited, and that the summit would strengthen Telangana’s economic and policy relations with countries internationally.
