Police in Greater Noida have registered a case against the manager or director, doctors and other staff of Green City Hospital in Delta-1 after an order from the Gautam Buddh Nagar court. The case follows allegations that a child was given incorrect test reports, advised dialysis for suspected kidney failure and placed at risk during treatment. The hospital management has denied the allegations, while police said the investigation is continuing.
According to the complaint cited in the report, advocate Sachin Bidhuri admitted his son, Satvik, to the hospital on September 20, 2025, after he developed a fever. The hospital collected a blood sample and, after the report was issued, doctors reportedly told the family that the child’s urea, potassium and sodium levels were significantly elevated. The family was allegedly advised to keep the child in the intensive care unit and undergo dialysis.
The complaint further states that the hospital sent another sample to a second laboratory for confirmation and that the reported results were similar. The family was then allegedly asked to sign a consent form and deposit money immediately. According to the complaint, doctors told the family that the child’s kidneys had failed and that dialysis was necessary. They also allegedly warned that the child could suffer cardiac failure during dialysis, while not undergoing the procedure could also endanger his life.
The family subsequently took the child to Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida on the advice of relatives. The report said doctors there reviewed the earlier reports and advised that the child be shifted to a larger facility. Satvik was then taken by ambulance under medical supervision to Kailash Hospital in Sector 27, Noida, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit and treatment began.
The complaint alleges that repeat tests at Kailash Hospital produced normal results and indicated that the child had ordinary typhoid. Doctors there reportedly described the Green City Hospital reports as incorrect and said they had not previously seen reports of that nature. According to the complaint, they also warned that treatment based on the earlier reports, including high-dose steroids and dialysis, could have placed the child’s life at risk.
The case was registered at Surajpur police station following the court’s direction. Station house officer Sanjay Singh said the investigation was under way. The report did not specify the sections of law invoked or disclose the status of any arrests. Green City Hospital management described the allegations as baseless and said no such incident had come to its notice. The management added that patients facing any problem could contact the hospital team. The police investigation and any subsequent court proceedings will determine the facts of the case.
