Delhi’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has resolved around 20 lakh of the 33 lakh entries flagged for logical discrepancies or lack of mapping, the Chief Electoral Officer’s office said as the exercise continues across the capital.

The Delhi CEO’s office said it remains committed to ensuring that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll. It has urged residents who are eligible but not yet enrolled to submit Form-6 along with the required documents during the revision period.

Special enrolment camps will be held at polling station locations across Delhi on October 18 and 25. The camps are intended to assist eligible residents who have not yet been included in the electoral rolls and provide support with enrolment and other electoral services. Similar camps were held on October 11, where Booth Level Officers helped electors with registration-related processes.

The election office said eligible applicants who submit Form-6 with the requisite documents will be included in Delhi’s electoral rolls. Applications can be submitted offline to Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, Booth Level Officers or at designated polling station locations until October 30.

Residents can also file applications online through the Election Commission’s voters’ services portal or the ECINET mobile application. The multiple submission channels are part of the administration’s effort to reach residents who may face difficulties accessing a polling station office or completing the process digitally.

The CEO’s office said voters requiring assistance can approach any of Delhi’s 14,947 Booth Level Officers, 902 Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, 70 Electoral Registration Officers or 13 District Election Officers. These officials are responsible for supporting electors and addressing enrolment-related difficulties during the ongoing revision.

The SIR exercise is focused on correcting discrepancies and ensuring that eligible electors are correctly included in the rolls. The figure of 33 lakh flagged entries includes cases identified because of logical discrepancies or the absence of mapping, while the office said approximately 20 lakh of these entries have now been resolved.

The electoral authorities have appealed to all eligible but unregistered residents to use the ongoing revision period to complete their enrolment before the October 30 deadline. Photos, videos and testimonials from the October 11 camps have been made available through the social media accounts of Delhi’s district election officers.
