The DDA housing scheme 2026 will offer 2,516 low-income group flats in Narela at a 25% discount, bringing the starting price of the homes to about ₹14.95 lakh, according to the Delhi Development Authority. Registration will open on October 14, while bookings will begin at noon on October 20.
The flats are located in pockets 3 and 6 of sectors G-2 to G-6 in Narela. Of the total inventory, 1,020 flats are in pocket 3 and 1,496 are in pocket 6. The homes have an area of about 49.90 square metres, including the shared area, the DDA said.
The scheme, called the DDA Awas Nivesh Yojana-2026, is intended for people looking to purchase a home in Delhi. Applicants will be able to register and book flats through the DDA’s housing portal. People who have already registered on the portal will not need to register again, according to the authority.
A one-time registration fee of ₹2,500 will be charged and will not be refundable. Applicants will also have to deposit ₹1 lakh at the time of booking. The starting price announced by the DDA does not include maintenance charges, water connection charges and conversion charges wherever applicable.
These additional amounts will be collected separately when the allotment letter is issued. The distinction is important for applicants assessing the total cost of purchase, as the advertised flat price does not represent all charges payable during the allotment process.
The DDA said the scheme booklet would be made available on its website from noon on October 13. The document is expected to provide the detailed terms, eligibility requirements and other conditions governing registration, booking and allotment.
Narela has been a significant location for DDA housing inventory, with large residential developments planned across its sectors. The latest offering places discounted homes in a peripheral Delhi location, where the practical cost of ownership will also depend on connectivity, services and the availability of everyday facilities around the housing pockets. The supplied announcement does not provide further details on these aspects.
For prospective buyers, the immediate milestones are the release of the scheme booklet, the opening of registration on October 14 and the start of bookings on October 20 at 12 noon. Applicants will need to consult the DDA’s official housing portal and scheme documents before submitting applications or making payments.
