Hyderabad traffic police have announced diversions near Pillar No. 37 of the PVNR Expressway towards Mehdipatnam from Monday to Thursday because of concrete road-laying work. The restrictions affect routes connecting Attapur, Nampally, Mehdipatnam, Shaikpet, Langer House, Sun City and nearby areas.
The advisory directs vehicles travelling from Attapur towards Nampally and surrounding areas through Mehdipatnam to divert at Pillar No. 92. From there, motorists must take a U-turn and continue via 100 Feet Road, Purana Pool and Jummerat Bazar.
Traffic moving from Shaikpet towards Attapur through Pillar No. 31 has been directed to take the Nanal Nagar diversion. Vehicles must turn right towards Balika Bhavan Junction, continue through Lakshminagar and proceed along Attapur Road.
A separate route has been specified for vehicles travelling from Shaikpet towards Langer House and Sun City via Nanal Nagar X Road. These vehicles must take the KFC U-turn and proceed through Shaikpet Nala, Banjari Darwaza, Makki Darwaza, Ramdevguda and Tippu Khan Junction.
Vehicles travelling from Lakdi-Ka-Pool towards Attapur via Rethibowli have also been given an alternate route. Traffic must divert at Azizia Mosque, turn left towards Meraj Cafe Junction, continue straight to Yadav Bhavan, turn right towards Gudimalkapur, and then proceed via Pillar No. 68 to Attapur Road.
The diversions have been issued to facilitate the concrete road-laying work near Pillar No. 37 of the PVNR Expressway. The affected corridors include several important links between western and central parts of Hyderabad, making the advisory relevant to both through traffic and local commuters using Mehdipatnam, Attapur and Shaikpet connections.
The traffic police advisory does not specify a separate timing window for the restrictions beyond the Monday-to-Thursday period. Commuters using the affected routes will need to follow the designated diversion points and allow for changes in travel time while the road work is underway. The advisory remains in force for the stated period, subject to further instructions from the Hyderabad traffic police.
