Future City summit preparations in Telangana must be completed by the end of November, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed officials during a visit to Bharat Future City in Rangareddy district on Monday. The Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 is scheduled to take place from December 7 to 9 at Bharat Future City.
Revanth instructed officials to organise the summit on an international scale and ensure that all arrangements meet global standards. He directed them to complete work on the open-air venue by November 15 and suggested increasing the workforce if required to accelerate construction.
The summit will be held under the theme “We guarantee your investments”. The chief minister described the event as an important platform for attracting entrepreneurs and investors from India and abroad. He also stressed the need for systematic planning and coordination among departments involved in the preparations.
During the visit, Revanth reviewed construction progress at Young India Skills University and directed officials to complete the campus at least 15 days ahead of its scheduled deadline. He inspected the ongoing works and asked officials to prioritise both the infrastructure required for the summit and the wider development of the Future City area.
The visit also included the inauguration of the Future City Police Commissionerate at Ibrahimpatnam. The commissionerate has been established to strengthen law and order and provide security for the developing Future City corridor, which is a major component of the state government’s urban development plans.
The new commissionerate covers 4,337 square kilometres across six assembly constituencies and two parliamentary constituencies. It is among the major commissionerates established under the framework of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. After inaugurating the facility, the chief minister visited the Commissioner of Police’s office and met commissioner Tarun Joshi.
Revanth later performed the Bhumi Puja for the proposed National Institute of Urban Management campus on the premises of the Future City Development Authority office. He also examined the model of the proposed campus. The institute is among the new institutional facilities planned within the Future City development area.
The directions place the summit schedule alongside several ongoing construction and administrative initiatives in the corridor. Officials have been asked to complete the open-air venue by November 15 and finish the remaining summit-related preparations by the end of November, ahead of the December 7 opening.
