A car without a number plate and with dark-tinted windows allegedly entered Amrapali Zodiac society in Noida’s Sector 120 without permission, hit several vehicles and triggered a confrontation in which three people were injured, according to a report by Navbharat Times – Noida. Police registered a case, detained two young men and seized the vehicle.

The incident was reported at the high-rise residential complex under the jurisdiction of Sector 113 police station. According to the report, the car entered the society without authorisation and caused damage to multiple vehicles. When residents attempted to stop the occupants, a dispute escalated and residents were allegedly assaulted.

Residents contacted the Noida Highrise Federation (NHRF) after the incident. NHRF president Nikhil Singhal visited Sector 113 police station late at night and met affected residents. Representatives of the NHRF, the society’s Apartment Owners’ Association and more than 100 residents then sought registration of a first information report and strict action against those involved.

The report said the police registered the FIR after residents presented their complaint. It identified the station house officer as Pramod Kumar and said residents thanked the police for taking prompt cognisance of the matter. The supplied report does not provide details of the FIR sections or the condition of the injured people.

NHRF representatives said the incident raised concerns about the entry of vehicles without number plates and the monitoring of suspicious activity in high-rise communities. NHRF secretary Kapil Mehra called for checks at society gates, regular CCTV monitoring and accountability of security personnel. The federation also urged apartment associations and security agencies to review their arrangements.

The incident has renewed attention on access control in Noida’s gated housing societies, where security at entry points is managed through a combination of private guards, resident associations and surveillance systems. The report referred to a similar incident at Prateek Laurel society a few days earlier, but did not provide details of that case.

The NHRF advised societies to check visitors and vehicles, monitor CCTV cameras regularly and inform the police immediately about suspicious activity. The report said the investigation would proceed after the FIR, the detention of two men and seizure of the vehicle.
