InvoiceCloud will invest ₹350 crore over the next three years to expand its innovation hub in Hyderabad, with the plan covering staff growth, office infrastructure, artificial intelligence initiatives and product development, the U.S.-headquartered digital billing and payments company said.
The investment comes as the company expands the role of its Hyderabad operation in its global product and engineering activities. InvoiceCloud established operations in the city in 2024 and has since grown its India team to more than 250 employees.
The company expects its Hyderabad workforce to reach 300 employees by the end of this year, with further expansion planned during the three-year investment period. The team includes engineering, product and AI professionals, according to the company’s announcement.
InvoiceCloud has also increased its Hyderabad office footprint by 50% to 33,000 sq ft. The additional space is intended to accommodate the company’s engineering, product and artificial intelligence teams as the hub expands.
The announcement links the investment to a broader shift in how the company develops products for its customers. While the company did not provide a project-wise breakup of the ₹350 crore allocation, it said the spending would support people, technology and capacity at the Hyderabad hub.
Kevin O’Brien, CEO of InvoiceCloud, said Hyderabad was becoming a larger part of the company’s customer-focused product development. “Hyderabad is becoming a bigger part of how we build for our customers, and that’s being driven by the results the team is delivering,” he said.
“This investment gives us the people, technology and capacity to build on that progress over the next three years,” O’Brien added.
For Hyderabad, the announcement adds to the city’s expanding base of technology and product-development operations serving markets outside India. The immediate measurable changes identified by the company are the planned increase in headcount, the enlarged office footprint and the allocation of capital towards AI and product work.
The company’s next stated milestones are to take the Hyderabad team to 300 employees this year and continue expanding the hub’s workforce, infrastructure and development capacity over the following three years.
