Hyderabad-headquartered Truzon Clean Energies has secured a ₹236-crore solar EPC contract from Hariom Power & Energy to develop ground-mounted projects with a combined capacity of 72 MW across four districts in Maharashtra.
The projects are being developed under PM-KUSUM Component C in Hingoli, Latur, Parbhani and Beed districts. The programme-linked order is intended to support agricultural solarisation while expanding Truzon’s utility-scale solar portfolio, the company said.
Truzon said it has already executed 15 MW of the 72 MW covered by the order. The remaining work will be delivered through a turnkey contract covering design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and performance demonstration.
Once commissioned, the projects are expected to generate 89.89 million units of electricity annually. The company said the estimate remains subject to final project specifications and operating conditions.
The order adds to Truzon’s ongoing expansion in utility-scale renewable energy. The Hyderabad-based company, formerly known as Suntek Energy Systems, counts cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma among its investors.
The project locations place the contract within Maharashtra’s agricultural heartland, where the solarisation of energy infrastructure is being pursued through the PM-KUSUM framework. In this case, the EPC scope extends beyond equipment supply: Truzon is responsible for taking the projects through construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
The company’s disclosure does not specify the individual capacity of each project, the construction schedule, the expected commissioning dates or the offtake arrangements for the electricity. It also does not provide a district-wise breakdown of the 15 MW already executed.
The next stated milestones are the completion of the remaining EPC work, commissioning of the projects and performance demonstration in accordance with the final project specifications.
