The Delhi Development Authority has announced a new DDA housing scheme offering 2,516 lower-income group flats in Narela at a 25% discount, with prices starting at around Rs 14.95 lakh. Registration will open on October 14, while bookings will begin on October 20 at noon through the DDA housing portal.
The flats are being offered under the DDA Housing Investment Scheme-2026. According to the authority, the homes are located in Sector G-2 to G-6 of Narela, specifically in Pocket-3 and Pocket-6. Pocket-3 will have 1,020 flats, while Pocket-6 will offer 1,496 flats.
Each flat measures approximately 49.90 square metres, including shared areas. The discounted starting price is intended for applicants seeking housing in Delhi’s lower-income segment, although the announced price does not cover all charges payable at the time of allotment.
The DDA said the scheme’s information brochure will be available on its website from October 13 at noon. Applicants will be able to complete registration and booking through the authority’s housing portal. People who have already registered on the portal will not need to register again.
A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500 will be charged. Applicants will also have to deposit Rs 1 lakh when booking a flat. The DDA has clarified that maintenance charges, water connection charges and conversion charges, wherever applicable, are not included in the advertised price.
These additional amounts will be collected separately when the allotment letter is issued. This means that the starting price announced under the scheme does not represent the full amount that every successful applicant will necessarily pay.
The location and pricing make the scheme relevant to Delhi’s continuing effort to expand formal housing options beyond the city’s established residential areas. Narela has been included in several DDA housing initiatives, but applicants will need to assess the location, access and additional costs alongside the discounted purchase price before booking.
Registration is scheduled to begin on October 14, and the booking window will open on October 20 at 12 pm. Applicants are expected to use the DDA’s official housing portal and consult the detailed brochure for the scheme’s eligibility conditions, payment requirements and allotment process.
