Authorities in Ernakulam district have intensified oversight of several delayed tourism and public infrastructure projects as the administration attempts to accelerate urban renewal efforts linked to heritage preservation, waterfront development and sustainable tourism growth across Kochi and surrounding regions. During a high-level project review, district officials directed departments to expedite pending restoration and civic improvement works spanning Fort Kochi, Aluva, Vypeen and other tourism-focused locations.
